Kevin Brouillard, Farm to School AmeriCorps member at Sidney CSD, has stayed busy over the summer! He is helping to support gardens located throughout the Sidney campus. This year, Sidney has doubled the size of its high school production garden and installed a plastic hoop house at the elementary school. The production garden will produce vegetables, such as zucchini, carrots, and onions to be processed for frozen meal kits, while the hoop house will extend the growing season for leafy greens for the cafeteria salad bar.
