It is National Farmers Market Week, August 4-10, and we want you to have the tools to take advantage of these great resources all year.
Many farmers markets accept SNAP benefits and many have programs that will give you extra bucks to spend at the market when you use your EBT card. Each one is different so check out the website or ask the folks at the info booth.
We have some beautiful local farmers markets in the Southern Tier. PRxSCNY vouchers can be used in Delaware, Broome, Tioga and Tompkins Counties – and each of them have awesome and unique Farmers Markets which can be a nice way to spend a bit of your day and support your local farmers!
